LEVEL 05 IMPROV

In level 5, students are exposed to a wide range of formats and styles. This course helps students discover what styles of play fit them best by rotating through a menu of different improv formats. In studying different formats, you begin to learn what structures create the kind of comedy you want to make, so you can find like minded improvisers and create the kind of comedy that feels like you.

This course is 8 classes plus two performances and a prerequisite of completing Level 04 at ColdTowne Conservatory.

LEVEL 06 IMPROV

In level 6, students work with an experienced improv coach to devise a new format, and perform it in a limited run at ColdTowne Theater. Level 6 students will get a taste of what it is like to be a ColdTowne graduate by co-creating and producing their own show. Graduates will walk away with an understanding of how to perform at ColdTowne regularly after graduation, how to produce a show and pack the house, and how a show can grow, deepen, and strengthen over several performances. This course is 8 classes, a limited run of 3 shows, and a graduation ceremony. Prerequisite: Level 5 at ColdTowne Conservatory
