Viola Spolin taught that “the techniques of the theater are the techniques of communicating.” In this workshop, Seth K. Thomas teaches The 70, a character-creation technique, rooted in human communication, developed specifically for improvisers and live performers. Through physical exercises performers will learn how posture, gesture, movement, and nonverbal behavior can be used to create unique, playable characters. Open to all experience levels.
