We are excited to announce our official ColdTowne Patreon Program!
This has been a long time coming as we have been preparing, planning and organizing our ideas for this program behind the scenes for a few years now, and it’s finally here.
Thank you so much for having our backs! Your support means the world to us. Many of you, since March of last year, have contributed financially to the sustainability of the theater and training center. With your help, we were able to retain our staff, pivot the 11th Annual Austin Sketch Fest to an online festival, launch ColdTowne Radio (our podcast network) and a live weekly Twitch stream to keep our performers’ chops sharp and have a place to meet online and laugh. Even without our next physical space yet in hand, ColdTowne is still very much alive.
Our plans for 2021 include a partnership with RIZZLE.TV (an episodic vertical streaming network), producing the 12th Annual Austin Sketch Fest in April and celebrating our 15th anniversary in October. As soon as it is safe to do so, we’ll also be starting outdoor classes and outdoor pop-up shows, as well as continuing the search for a new physical space we can call home in 2022.
With your continued support we can achieve these things and get back to somewhat normalcy. In 2020, our amazing community donated over $18,000 to ColdTowne to help us cover expenses. Your amazing contributions, together with income from online classes and ColdTowne’s signature Corporate DEI Training has kept us above water and able to take care of the business and our incredible team of staff.
