2008 Teen Summer Improv Intensive!
ColdTowne is thrilled to announce its first-ever teen summer improv intensive (August 11-17), a one-week crash course in the essentials of long-form improv specifically geared to students 13 to 18 years old. Classes are capped at 16 students and filling up fast, so go here for more information!
Fast Forward Improv Intensive!
Over the past two years, the ColdTowne Conservatory has taught more than 200 students "Chicago-style" improvisation. This summer, the ColdTowne Conservatory is offering students the option of taking the first two levels of our improv curriculum -- which would normally extend over the course of 16 weeks -- in a one-week "fast-forward" intensive at a discounted rate. Improv and Sketch Classes Enrolling Now!
Curious about all the hubbub? Learn improv, sketch and now stand up comedy from Austin's finest. The ColdTowne Conservatory teaches a five-level improv curriculum and a three-level sketch comedy curriculum. ColdTowne students see ALL shows at the theater at no charge and learn the techniques used by comedy luminaries such as Bill Murray, the Upright Citizens Brigade, Tina Fey, and others!

The ColdTowne Theater is Austin's main stage for alternative comedy. We currently have shows Thursday through Saturday featuring the smartest, brightest, and hardest-working comedians in Central Texas. We also run a conservatory offering education in improv and sketch comedy.
