A funny thing happens after the 10 pm show at ColdTowne on the first Saturday of every month. That invisible barrier between the stage and the audience mysteriously disappears. By 11.30 it's gone, just in time for one of ColdTowne's signature events: Jam City.
Produced by the faculty of ColdTowne Conservatory,, Jam City is low-pressure, high-energy proof that anyone -- and we do mean anyone -- can do improv. First-timers and wily veterans alike take the stage as ColdTowne's teachers direct a series of highly entertaining games. It's the kind of stuff we do to warm up in classes all the time, and once you jump in, you won't want to stop. (We know; we feel the same way.)
