Bruto T. Clown first achieved an awareness of self in the Dark Heart of West Texas. It was in this Stygian abyss of held-back hee-haws and cranked-up yokels that he figured out a way to avoid oncoming beer bottles. He would live it up and let folks know about it. Bruto has been to Mexican border towns too many times. He has listened to the coyotes serenade him in the pre-dawn twilight. He has sheared sheep, walked along a moonlit ridge in search of a pickup, and stepped in more kinds of manure than there are figs on a bush. Bruto is an accessory to the murder of an ostrich and might tell you where he buried the body, if you ask him real nice.
